The Christian Church Should 'Give Easter Back to the Pagans'

Why? Basically, because Easter is just another reminder that 'life goes on.' Whether you think the Earthly 'hierarchy power-structure' is right-or-wrong, good-or-evil ... it goes on after we 'pass' it. When I say 'give it back to the pagans,' I mean "like they did with Halloween, have started to do with 'the winter holidays,' etc."

What specific Christian Church? There are too many sects you know. There are Christian sects that dont celebrate Christmas and easter.

@Hanyouyomi This may blow your mind but the Christian sect I belong to, dont see Jesus as God, Only as a messiah prophet. Yeah the diversity of Christian sects were mind blowing.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Right, I forgot about that, as last I checked the Philipines is a Catholic nation, which again makes sense. No, wait you mean to tell me there are catholics that don't celebrate Christmas or Easter?

I know what law is stopping pagansfrom celebrating their original brand of Easter... I had the same problem when I learned of the aspects of Christmas that were derived from Yule. Like what law is preventing Pagans from celebrating Yule and Easter.

Interesting. I want to know how a church should 'give back' to the pagans. I'm not having a go at you but I think that yes, pagans have the right to assert that a certain religious practice has pagan origins but I think that back in the days, Christians did try to incorporate pagan beliefs to have more followers. That and many many years later, it has been identified with Christianity. I don't see people, especially Christians, who would just drop Easter celebrations (or any pagan-inspired practice) since it has been part of their tradition. Also, a lot of people had been resourceful enough to know that EWatser has pagan origins and choose not to celebrate it.
