Progress on the first one...

I've mentioned that I'm doing three bookmarks as a commission for a lady at church. I thought that I would share my progress on the first one that I am working on. She wanted it with her grandson's name, and said that he liked to read and wore glasses. So, I'm making this one a stack of books with his name to the side and a pair of glasses on top. I've ripped out the name once because I realized that it wasn't in a good place, but otherwise, so far so good. ;)

Well, it's a commission--she's paying me. :) I will be sure and post progress on this and the other two when I can.

@Hatley Aw, thank you, Patsie. :) I enjoy cross stitching. I find it relaxing (except for when I realize I need to rip something out or get a knot out of my embroidery floss).

I've been contemplating knitting again. Your x stitch looks good so far.

I love the stack of books. They look like books even from afar.
