if we don't have a moon?

How many times you wake up every day thankful we have moon that orbits around the planet and we see at night. Did you know that the moon is the reason we have waves in the first place that's allows people to surf on the beach? I've watch youtube movie about an earth with out moon, and it's quite scary. According to the info, with out the moon, we'll be tugging a gravity between us and the sun. Thus, the lengh of the wave will be high as the sky crapper building. If you have watch the movie interstellar and they went to a planet that is full water and the wave were just as tall as a building. That's what would happen to us, if we don't have the moon. We'd be extinct quite as fast by being hit by an asteroid.
Life on earth without the moon...

I can't imagine us not having a moon. The moon is so important and thank God for it and the same for the sun.

Well, the sun and moon are both important. It's just that with out the moon, we die earlier or we never been born.

Yes I do know this Letran..thank you for the video too. Since I love the ocean and indeed did live by the wild and windy sea at one time, I do know that gravity and the moon has much to do with the waves and how they perform. I have seen 20 ft waves in storms. It is amazing all the power of this. We always knew by the moon what will happen with the sea.

Yeah, the moon does it all to make us stable @TiarasOceanView and if we don'thave that stability then were in trouble with nature.

Hello @Lucky15 yeah, this is one important satellite, we can't afford to lose this. unfortunately if any alien invastion would consider destroying this instead to kill us slow.

The moon is a very interesting thing. My son told me a few days ago that the moon doesn't actually glow that it is a reflection of the sun on it. I thought that was really neat. Something that I probably should have learned in school but didn't.

I did watch the movie Interstellar and enjoyed it. I'm also glad that the Creator made the moon to help us and please us.

Our moon has its natural gravitational pull that is why we have high tide and low tide.
