How Do You Respond to Anger?

Are you quick to anger? Can you control yourself? Its normal to get angry sometimes but how normal is normal? That is the question. There are some situations in our lives that our patience will be tested and provocation is really so strong that things go beyond your control. Like what others said everyone of us has his own breaking point. Is it really that hard to keep yourself together when you are faced with a different kind of situation? Like for example when a friend stabs you in the back, a stranger cuts your line or someone spreads some bad humor about you. How do you respond to these kinds of situations?

I used to get angry quite easily but now I am trying to pattern my life and behavior after Jesus Christ and rarely get angry.

When I was young I angered more easily, but I have mellowed with age.

I believe that happens when we grow more mature just like you said it goes with age.

I think people never expect anger from others. But they often deliver it.

I get angry a lot to situations I wasn't in control or prepared for. I'm no superman but there are times were you just get angry out of fear also. But over the course of time (not weeks, days or months) I get over it and just move on with my life.

There are things beyond our control and at time we let down our guard because we are only humans.
