Tom didn't like being alone, His hopes to be loved they had flown, But he didn't whine Tried dating online, But his first date was just an old crone. Undaunted, he went on again, Was over the moon to meet Jen. But he was aghast To find as time passed, 'She' was of that gender called men. So, the first time he'd got a gran, The second time it was a man, Was it a curse Can it get worse? Well yes - I'm afraid that it can. Oh my goodness, I see you and Barry are at it again. I'll have to wait until another day, or possibly three since I'll be working the night shift tonight and tomorrow. Maybe I can join in too, but I'm making no promises.

It is too sad for Tom. I hope he could find a good woman for him. Looking for someone online is like gambling. It is either you lose or win. I have met my boyfriend online and after few months he flew here to see me, then the rest is history. We have been in our relation for almost three years now and I did not regret taking the risk to fall in love online.

@annierose it was easier for my sister as they were both living in Wales. It was a second marriage for both of them as they were both widowed. It just shows that you can find love at any age - they were in their 70s when they married a couple of years ago, but they'd known each other for about 10 years by then. So are you two living in the same country now?

@jaboUK I see you have noticed this lol I do it with everyone I follow. Every time I come on here I have to look at every single discussion that the people I follow have posted. Kind of an OCD thing I guess you could say.
