After graduation,What?

April 8, 2016 10:04am CST
The unemployment rate of today is higher and it become higher each year as the graduation happened. And now my niece and nephew just received their diplomas.Hopefully they will not be counted to those unemployed numbers of graduate. My niece ask me this morning."Auntie, what will be the scenario when we apply for a job?How to apply for a job?.I just give her an advice,to be persistent and grab every opportunity that will come her way.Look for a job that interest you most and love it.

Especially when college degrees are the new high school diploma. My classmate at college got his doctorate degree after years of good grades and hard work and couldn't find any jobs for years. We need to create a new world where people work to better their lives and communities to prevent this growing trend, and after a new bottom is created, go from there. Right now everything is a mess because the old systems don't work with the new world and populations.

@babeskoy1977 We might have to revert to the way society was before, where families would stay together somewhat, and one generation takes over the successes of the previous one.

That's a nice advice . Once the person graduates , she should dligently and patiently submit her resumes in person or even online . Good luck to your niece . Is that her in the picture ?

This happens where I am a lot. A lot of people graduate with a four year degree and cannot find a job in their field at all. And then they are left with a heap of student loan debt in an entry level job that doesnt pay enough. Im not sure how this happened. Since when are ungraduate degreed worth nothing?!
