In one seminar that i attended, the facilitator asked the participants this question as an ice breaker : why you are here? Some answers they were sent by their HR officer, some for personal development. Coming from a back seat, someone yelled " to promote world peace and stop global warming", and then the room was filled by giggles and laughters. But the facilitator didnt joined the crowd. He said, it was not funny!! Those are serious subjects!! Anyway, my question to all mylot members here, would you share ur thoughts why you are here...all answers will be appreciated, serious or not..

I'm enjoying the fact that you can discuss anything you want here at Mylot . Sharing thoughts, ideas and other stuff, asking questions just like what you did make me feel that I have an assignment . This assignment can help me improve my social skills (communication) and grammar. Also, I learned a lot from Myloters. I had a chance to share my opinions with other people here and help those who ask questions that need answers. Above all while enjoying these assignments, I can earn money.

I'm here at the very insistent prodding of a friend I got to know in another site. The sad thing though is we don't get to meet here often now that I joined.

Hello! I am here because I love tis place. It is a great place to spend your free time and earn a little cash for doing so. And unfortunately all other websites are not working on my computer as of right now. What about you?

I like the fact that i can express myself anonymously in here, unlike in facebook. Moreover, english is not my first language and I wanted to read and write to improve it

ice breaker answers should not be sent to HR - they are just to help put staff at ease and get people relaxed but thinking and working together - they are being used as an assessment tool if HR evaluate the results - the company should be honest about that
