I used to cut apples and pears with a knife so there are really no left out food.

We don't cut pears as it sounds like "separate" in Chinese. So when we have pears, we will have the whole one and we will not cut it into pieces.

I can only assume the one that is mostly eaten was yours and the one with still more fruit left is your sons and that leaves the middle your husbands...how did I do with my guessing?
