When your Boss wants your to work on Sundays

When you thought that you are having a good day with your family and enjoying a quality time at church, and then a phone rings your boss wants you to report to work as soon as possible.

I feel that it is most frustrating moment when you work on Sunday because your all plan is spoiled

@Bennkz03 Then assuming they live close enough, you go visit them. Some phones have a setting which allows for calls from contacts only.

During my cna work, we had a few bosses to answer to. Every time, without fail at least one of them would call me on every single off day "Can you please come in?" Sometimes two of them would call because one would call without realizing one of the others had already spoken to me. When I finally had enough I went over their heads, to their boss and she put a stop to it. Your boss should respect your time and that you have a family or start hiring people who don't have lives.

@Shavkat the contract can be silent on that but mentioned that you don't come to work on Sundays then he calls you I want you to do something for me its urgent

under normal circumstances I don't work on weekends, that's what the contract says

Did this happen to you? If so thats super frustrating. Couldnt they instead just ask you to come in early on Monday? I used to work at a job where I was on call like that but I was salaried so I didnt even get any overtime pay whivh was frustrating. Hopefully you did not have to go in.
