The Nazz - Meridian Leeward sounds like it's a bit of English Psych whimsy, about someone who used to be a piggy but got turned into a person, for most of the song, but then turns into a dig at the police (the pigs). "I think I'd rather be a cop I think that's what I'd like to be I'd show you people a thing or two If a man in blue starts beating on you Look out 'cause it might be me You look like a cop but you know you're a pig"

last few songs: Atari Teenage Riot - Digital Hardcore noise but it's good noise "And i'm running down the back street And i'm never giving in!" Bran Van 3000 - Drinking in LA - reminds me of watching South Park in about 98, there was always a drinks advert that had this song on it. Thin Lizzy - The Rocker The Thermals - I Know The Pattern third time today, don't remember where I got this track from found it on my hard drive amongst a bunch of tracks I ripped when I had to sell of some of my cds, must of been on a compilation but I don't remember hearing it before. This is great, sounds like a 70's garage punk band with a spaghetti western influance as well partial yearning powerpop vocals. Barely heard of them - just saw the name in passing a few days ago - thought it couldn't be the same ones - there must be an old band with the same name. Turns out they're on Subpop and have a myspace page.
