We Got A Free Large Pizza!!

Last night I ordered two large pizzas for dinner (not all for me I promise!), but as they got the order wrong and forgot to put chicken on a chicken sizzler pizza (chicken in the name of the pizza would have helped the chefs realise the main ingredient!) they delivered us a free large pizza 45 minutes later.
By that time however I was full from consuming the wrong pizza as I was too hungry to wait. No problem, just means I have the weekend to finish off a large pizza, should be easy!
Have you been given freebies before when a restaurant get your order wrong?

If they don't give me what I asked for and paid for I don't think complaining is out of order...@gudheart

WE were given a free pizza of our choice because the delivery was delayed. It was free pizza and a liter of coke, or was it pepsi? I forgot since it was many years ago.
I love pizza, why don't you invite me to come over and let's finish eating them?

Yes, with a local fast food chain here in my country. The delivery crew came back with some freebies.

Its nice when they make good. Onc I ordered a chicken pot pie for supper. When they brought ,y meal to the table. I commented that it really was t very hot. One of my kids (we were out for dinner with my husband and our five children), said, oh mom, don't complain. I reiterated, it's not really very warm. My daughter stuck her fork in and exclaimed. "Mom, it's still frozen!"
They remade my pot pie, which arrived just as the rest of the family were finished their meal. They didn't even offer a discount.

@gudheart no, the first meal was returned to the kitchen, so I only had to pay for one pot pie. It's. O fun sitting and eating when everyone else is finished and waiting for you because your food arrived after their plates were empty.

It's happened quite a few times to me after ordering various takeaways.
The funniest one was where my brother in law had actually made a mistake on the order rather than the restaurant.
We did tell them that but they STILL gave us the correct thing, didn't charge us and we kept the original dish.
Good customer service but I think part of it was the order was over £150 and we spend quite a lot with them every few weeks.
