There is so much being said about the goodness of sprouted grains. Some eat them raw or add them in salads. I somehow cannot digest raw sprouted grains. But I cook them. We did that for lunch yesterday. We soaked green gram overnight and then tied the stuff in a muslin cloth and hung it for a day. The next day you see roots pushing out from cloth. It is a nice sight when you know you have had results for your effort. There are many recipes to cook sprouted grain. I have one standard recipe which I use every time I cook sprouted green gram. Do you eat raw sprouted grains?

I don't eat raw sprouted grains . I want them wrapped with meat in a spring roll then fried . What we have here is what we call sprouted mongo it's a bit similar to that but smaller bean . It's delicious too , to saute with cabbage and carrots and some ground pork .

I have just recently started eating them. I love bean sprouts and alfalfa sprouts. I have yet to cook them. I am one of the guilty party. I eat them raw. LOL
