While Bubblews was still going, I heard about the site Elie Writers and dipped my toes into this site but never found it that good. Then I heard the stories of how someone ran off with all the cash and no one would be getting paid for their work.
An email popped up inviting me back but I'm wary. The site doesn't seem that busy and a payment of $0.005 for each view and comment, it could take a long time to actually make any money there.
On the other side, I have a pile of articles that I previously wrote that is just sitting in a Google drive doing nothing so wouldn't be a great deal of effort...
To be honest though, I can't see me bothering but I was interested in seeing if anyone else used it and if so, is it worth signing up?

I guess it really depends on what kinds of articles you have. I am very leery of writing sites these days since so many have't been paying.

@euphie I started my own blog so that I had a home for my articles and I feel at least I now have control.

Writing sites are notorious for skipping out on the payments. Perhaps you should look for some user reviews online to see what they say about it. Also enter the name and scam to see what comes up. Judge from there. I have sold the rights to an article and gotten like nine cents a year. Not worth it.

I had written articles there but after the cash being taken away by one of the admins, I never write again in there. They emailed me but I ignored.

No, I don't know about that site. It is hard to take chances and get nothing for your efforts; frustrating.
