I like eating watermelons, especially in the hot summer. Today there are yellow watermelons. I tried it a few times but I still prefer to the normal watermelons. First, I am afraid that the yellow watermelons are transgenic. Second, I think red watermelon is sweeter. Third, usually the yellow watermelons will be much more expensive and there is no point to buy it since I think red yellow watermelons taste better.

I will at any time prefer the natural ones, avoiding any alterations.

I have heard and seen how now they have fruits and veggies that have a variety of colors but aside from the tomatoes and peppers I have not tried any other fruits or veggies that come in a different color but I am curious and wonder about it is it worth it is the question for me. If it doesn't affect the flavor and it cost more I am not sure I want to spend the extra cash.

I just think the taste is not as sweet as the normal watermelon and that's all.

@youless The sweetness is what makes the watermelon so awesome lol its almost like eating cotton candy if the yellow one is not as sweet its not going to be a winner for me lol. I want to taste the rainbow !

I have also tasted yellow watermelons. It looks different from the red ones as its not rounded but its oblong shaped like a huge cucumber and its skin is very dark green. I also prefer the red ones.

I have never tasted yellow watermelons, just the regular ones (watermelons). Regular watermelons have a great amount of liquid; that is one of the reasons, I like them. Some day I might be able to try yellow watermelons.
