I was resolved to continue working to the limits here on Mylot, today; however, I can hardly type a complete word with this keyboard, since the keys are sticky. They have given me computers with sticky keys before here at the library, but not one like the one I got today. I feel like going to the store and buy some oil (vegetable, car) and pour some over the sticky keys, so the stickiness disappears I will try to just look at my typing without staring at the display of the computer, so more concentration is put on the keys and their performance, and see if this works. Have you had to deal with sticky keys?

Can you ask the librarian if they have any kind of wipes for the computer because it's sticky? Sounds like the person before you was inconsiderate of how he worked on the computer. It should be a requirement of the library to make certain the computers are always in good shape and the person using it is required to keep it that way.

I did not have that problem at the library when I used their computers, but on my own computer which comes with something to stop sticky keys and when it does happens the computer takes care of the issue. I really do not understand how to explain but it sure does help.

that is VERY aggravating to say the LEAST when I HAD a key board mine would get that way I would tap it on the table a few times so I got the crud out of the keys so I could type then I had problems with the paint coming off the keys so that was another issue I had & so I just said to HECK with all this crap & went to speech recognition or my online keyboard to work with so NOW I don't have either one of them problems ALL IS SOLVED but being your not on your OWN computer I guess that would be a little hard to do but you could ASK them if they have any of them on the computers that you could use instead or tell them about the sticky keys,
