It Was Cancelled

My day trip today was cancelled because of the weather. The town we were headed to was having such heavy rains that many of the streets were under water and people were beginning to worry about their homes. It has started raining here also guess I will stay home all day oh well maybe tomorrow will be better. Anyway I found another picture I thought you might like of a barn and some grain bins on this farm.

@just4him Thanks must wait for another day. I hope they are getting any more rain then and the flooding will be stopped. I thought the picture came out very good.

A lot of activites around here have been cancelled due to rain and storms this past week. It rained the entire first day of the quilt retreat. I had to back my van out of the parking spot before the water got too much and I couldn't get in later.

I love the photo. Quite the silos. Its a proper farm. The house is hidden behind the barn and outbuildings. I'm sorry your trip has been cancelled.

It has been raining off and on here for us as well. Not as bad as around you though!! I do hope that the rain is not that bad right there at your house though! When it rains though my yard gets pretty flooded not so bad it is in the house because we are off the ground but bad enough that it leaves puddles everywhere and hard to get off the steps and into the yard without getting wet! I have to go out tomorrow to the store and did for an hour today, but other than that I am keeping myself inside also.

So many are affected by the severe thunderstorms. Perhaps tomorrow will be a better day for visitations and outdoor activities.

The weather gets in our way every time we head out to cut the grass! And then the more it rains... the taller the grass grows!
