Yesterday Was Such a Busy Day!

I am up a little later than I like to be and have spent my time trying to get caught up on all my notifications. Yesterday was such a busy day, I didn't get the time to do much of anything on my computer!
I worked on cleaning out our barn all day yesterday! Our barn is more of a big storage shed, where we keep things stored in tubs and boxes and some of our yard equipment. It had gotten in such a mess, I couldn't stand it anymore!
I fought the spiders and a scorpion or two and moved everything around to clean. I went through boxes and threw somethings out that just were not any good anymore. I was amazed at all the dead June bugs and leaves that had found their way in!
Now it is all organized and clean, but hubby isn't one to "put things back where they belong", so I know it will not stay this way for long!
Not a very good picture of our barn, but it seems to be the only one I have!

It used to be a nice looking barn, but time is taking its toll. We really need to do some work on it, but it is going to be pretty expensive. At least it is clean for now and maybe we will find some time and money to do a little work on it this year.

i swear yer hubs'n mine've jest gotta be kin! yepperz, this'un here don't put nothin' where't belongs neither. he's taken o'er 3 garages 'n 2 barns fer all his junk. no doubt'cha feel better'bout yer barn, e'en if'n fer only a lil while.

@sgbrown the hubs work truck's immaculate. he e'en complains when one'f his helpers puts'p tools'n the wrong spot! i can barely walk through the garages to get to the house :( which's the only way in/out, lol.

His "barn" which is the other half of my barn, is a MESS! You can barely walk inside. That is where a lot of his car junk is and there is no way I am touching any of that. Now, his shop stays pretty neat. I wish he would treat the house like he does his shop!

I wish I could have spent yesterday outside but it poured all day. Hopefully no rain today.

@fishtiger58 Yesterday, Monday, was gloomy and chilly! Today the sun is shining and it should get up into the high 70s. I am so ready!

Wow, cool looking barn! That is impressive. How scary to run across scorpions. I am midwestern so of course I have never seen or dealt with these (only in movies). Glad that you got so much done. I wish your motivation was contageious :_-)

Thank you, @maezee I wish I had a better picture of it. It really needs some work done on it now. The scorpions you see on TV are really large. These are barely in inch in length, but I have been told that their sting is really painful. I don't want to find out for myself!
I have made myself a list of things that need to be done around here and just started working on it. That is the best way for me to get things done!
