Monopoly at Vons: Win Cash, Cars and More! Have you ever won anything?

Since Albertsons is no long in business, Vons/Safeway is taking over the Monopoly Game Piece Trend. Tomorrow just happens to be the last day and my dad waited all this time to ask me to match up his game pieces he accumulated from his shopping trips of like a month! He does not shop at Vons for these game pieces, but shops at Vons as a regular weekend routine for groceries! He asked me if I can match up the pieces because the pieces are small and it would take him a long time.
I accepted and it took me 30 minutes to finish matching all the pieces.
End result?
We won nothing from the board game, but we were very close to a few. Like we were missing 1 piece away from winning $25 gift card and $1,000 cash.

One for 2 more Monopoly Pieces (Which we will probably not redeem as it'll expire tomorrow anyway lol)

@infatuatedbby at that time 300$ was 15k in pesos so it was a great thing considering I only waited for my friend for half an hour

I don't go out of my way to play, but I have been playing this one. I had a woman hand me a large stack in the parking lot she said she wasn't playing. I still have a few in my purse that I need to put on my board and I guess I will be doing that this evening. In answer to your other question no I haven't won anything to speak of, free movie rental from Redbox and some coupons. I'm missing 1 or 2 in several different categories for some of the bigger prizes, and of course I don't expect to win anything.

Oh yes - I know what you mean, I do not go out of the way to play. My dad got a bunch from just regular groceries. That is very nice of the last to give you a stack. I hope you have some winnings! The $5/10/25 are most common!! Good luck

The only instant winners I had from Safeway this time around were coupons. I still have a free pouch of tuna to redeem... guess I'd better get on that tomorrow!
I was ridiculously close on a bunch of the prizes. I think my board has very few that have more than 1 or 2 pieces to go... but no winners this time around. 
Maybe next time I'll make it a point to actually do more of my shopping there instead of at the competitor's...

Hehe - we were close to a few too! I did not know my dad was playing as I threw a few away when I went grocery shopping

Our Safeway does this. We were playing, but my girlfriend got tired of matching everything up. I still get them from the cashier, just in case.

It expires tomorrow - so double check if you won anything. Or well, I think it ends tomorrow from collecting and you have until sometime mid of this month to redeem or something.

You had me confused for a few minutes until I read some of the comments and realized what you were talking about. Didn't MacDonalds do something like that a few years ago. I vaguely remember!!
