On this Mothers Day I remember the many beautiful times we had when my children were little, my husband was alive and we were a close family. It is not that my daughters are not close to me. But they have their own families, their work and their worries. I will not be alone this day this year as my eldest will come for lunch. She will bring homemade chocolate chip cookies, the very same recipe I taught her to bake so many years ago. This time we will have them as a dessert, with coffee. Do you have drawings and presents that your children gave you on those occations? This sentence reminded me of a horrible clay cat I still keep with love.
