When I was in high school, I always noses in a book. I like being a bookworm and had learned so many things during that time. However, when I step-in in university. I lost the drive to read novel books and focused more on my academic subjects. Despite being so busy, I managed to read books and nourished my brain in learning so many things. Personally speaking, I feel so bored working in a regular basis if not getting something from it. That’s the reason why I don’t stay in a company that couldn’t provide progress for my total being. Do you nose in a book lately? Photo Credit: https://pixabay.com/en/library-sky-birds-mystical-clouds-425730/

@infatuatedly I must admit that I don't have the time to read novels. The best thing is to read the write ups of you and the other members.

This is kind of weird but I like reading academic textbooks. I just like the learning. If I could afford more I would like to read some medical and law books. I bet there could be a lot of articles a writer could get from them. I have a lot of teacher education, human services and counseling psychology texts that I get a lot of ideas from and I share what I have learned and what I am learning.

I am always reading something, even if it's labels on a jar! If I don't have a book started, I feel lost, as if something is missing in my life.

@Shavkat Well, I'm semi retired so I have more time now than in the past. I have always read, though.

I am glad you still have the time to read books. In some point of my life, I used to read a lot of novels. However, I am being preoccupied lately.

I have 3 books in progress on my desk at this moment. I love to read and I make time for doing it, even if its just tiny bits while a big website loads...

I am an avid reader and I always have my nose in a book ever since really elementary school. I am re-reading my nursing textbooks for a test prep study book I am writing. I am also reading classic literature and have already read Peter Pan, The Scarlet Letter, The Illiad, and The Time Machine and there are more to read.

@marky7 That's really a hard thing to read especially medical books. During my time, it was really fun and gaining knowledge more.

The best way to travel without burning a lot of cash is by reading books.

@toniganzon While reading some books, we traveled from different places by the power of our imagination.

I really like reading books and would like to read more than I really do. The time to sit down and to get lost for a whole in between the pages of a good story is too short nowadays, as we get too much involved in our job, homework, family....
