My son and I watched this movie last night on DVD that he had rented. It is a new movie and I found it quite interesting for an action/adventure/sci-fi. It is about aliens who have come to Earth 4 times prior and want to conquor the Earth and eliminate all the people so they can have this planet to themselves. The plot centers around a teen girl and her younger brother. I won't say any more as I don't want to give away any more of the story.

What if the aliens turn out to be our friends, maybe with their advance technology they can kill the ISIS for us

@Rosekitty I doubt if it would be on Netflix yet. Have you watched Marsalles on Netflix and it is in Enlgish can you belive that. I watched some of it and need to continue sometime soon. Glad to see you on here more now, my friend and hope you are doing okay.

What ruins this movie for me, Her love interest....so unnecessary. We have the chance to have this strong independent character but they decided to give her a love interest and he looks like a pedo with that beard,

Is that a new movie? Is it by the maker of Independence Day? I had heard there was another one coming out by the maker of Independence Day and saw the previews for it and it looked really good. So I'm wondering if that is the movie I saw previews for.

@Marcyaz Then it is altogether possible it is, since I just saw those previews not to long ago. I'm going to check it out. I didn't realize it was already out of the theaters. I did check it out and it's not. But it does sound like a good movie.

i also watched it over the weekend as my daughter wanted to see it. but it was the typical alien movie i think. it is why i don't usually care for them any more. to predictable but it was okay. we also watched Spy with Melissa McCarthy. it was great and hilarious. I love that girl

Did you like it? I for one, didn't. Although the actress was good, I felt I was watching a teen love story centered around finding the one instead of fighting aliens.. You should see the fourth kind..

I did like it and no I haven't seen the fourth wave I didn't think it was a teen love story at all.
