Another Wednesday, another box of organic fruits and vegetables. This week's delivery is really pretty good. We received: red leaf lettuce, kale greens, beets, eggplant, green beans, carrots, roma tomatoes, ramps, Yukon gold potatoes, tarragon, cantaloupe, Fuji apples, Bartlett pears, and bananas. I'm afraid of beets but I suppose there's no time like the present to finally roast them and try them and I've never tried ramps but I know that they are considered to be like a delicacy. Those are the only two question marks for the box. Everything else is a go. What do you think of the contents of this week's box? Would you pay $55 for a box of organic produce like this? Do you think eating organic food is important?

It would depend. Do you choose the food that's coming or does it just come?

It just comes. I like that it varies with the season. It helps us to expand our diet so we don't get stuck in a rut. I'd never eat kale on my own but I enjoy it when it comes in the box.

It's probably important, but it's just too expensive.
