Sick and Staying Home

I got up this morning not feeling any better but I had every intention of going to work. My supervisor said they needed me today so I planned on going to work. She knew I wasn't feeling well yesterday as I had asked if they could do without me.
Thankfully she called this morning and said I could stay home. Now I have three days to rest up and get better. I suspect once she started doing the day's schedule she found she could manage without me.
I don't call in ever and have gone to work like I did yesterday even when I'm sick but I'm not going to say no to an offered day off when I am.
Then again, maybe she's afraid I might sneeze all over one of the guests!

@irishidid Well, that's good. You've got some extra time to rest up. Hopefully, you feel better by the time you have to go back to work.

I think it's just a cold and hopefully I'll be better by Thursday when I go back to work.

@irishidid A couple of easier days might help you get rid of it.

Probably! It isn't super busy yet but with summer coming it's going to be the usual mad house.
