Did you know ... Some users have Skype but don't even know it?

I tried a few times to contact a person I know well via Skype, as I am given a notification when they are online but every time I try to text message them I get no response.
I checked an older e-mail from this person from a few months ago and he asked me, What is Skype?
So that means he was not even aware that he had Skype in his computer. Originally Skype was MS Messenger. Then came Skype, then MS Messenger and Skype merged.

I went all year once not even knowing I had Microsoft Word pre-installed. And chess, lol.

It is a bothersome app. I could live without it. But the only one who texts me is my sister in Indiana. lol.

I thought Skype originally was Skype until MSN bough it that's why it merged. That's why people with MSN account are automatically on Skype even though they don't know skype.
Been using skype for 7-8 years now I think.
