And the winning is…….. If you remember last week I had a postcard for Connecticut which was really nice. I asked if people would like me to send them a postcard from the UK, which a number of people PMed me saying that they would like a postcard. Bobby @bwjsdems from New Zealand Auckland, PMed and the race was on for which postcard would reach who first. Well, I’m lost for words, because Bobby’s postcard arrived in the mail today. Posted on the 17th which is 6 days. Now to be fair, I posted mine to New Zealand on the 18th so maybe mine would arrive in New Zealand tomorrow, due to the time difference. Then again my may well be still stuck at Heathrow knowing the UK postal service. I’m amazed at the speed of which the postcard arrived. Thank you, Bobby it’s lovely and I hope you get yours soon.

I just messaged that I finally checked my letterbox and there was the postcard from @kevin1877uk! It must have arrived yesterday (monday the 23rd) as we only have deliveries mon/wed/fri. The astounding thing is that it is faster than I can get a letter from one end of New Zealand to the other! So is it a draw? or perhaps yours is faster since you posted it a day later than mine? Maybe the postal service knew there was a race on and decided to be fast for a change?

Oh WOW that's amazing, so mine wasn't stuck at Heathrow after all. VIP Postcards I think you could well be right there, the postal service somehow knew there was a Postcard race on and cleared all routes and even had police escorts to make sure of no holdup.
