I am new on this site and I am still trying to get the hang of the things. I have gone through the FAQs and some discussions posted here. I also commented on some and posted a few discussions here. But there is one question that I need to ask from the experienced users here: What is the minimum word count for posting a discussion on myLot?

It would be nice if you write a substantial post.

No minimum but type a good amount you can feel to be discussed. Many do not reply to single liners.

Thanks for your response! I understand that posting one-liners would be futile but still was wondering if there is a minimum word count.

There is no minimum word count. The only limit is imposed by what sensibly constitutes a discussion topic. It is difficult to give sufficient information on a topic in less than two or three lines, at least.

There is no minimum word count. Use how ever many words it takes to express your idea. It needs to be complete enough to stimulate discussions, something people can relate to. There are no minimums or maximums, the site is not a parent or a policemen telling us everything to do. Enjoy yourself and share your opinions and such with us, and we will do the same with you.

I think no minimum as long as not spammy and vulgar, but not nice to have only one or three sentences post.

I understand. It should be meaningful and not just 2-3 lines for the sake of it.
