Sportsmanship taking a backseat in this year's NBA playoffs.

I love the game of basketball and I'm happy to see the Toronto Raptors fighting through a lot of adversity and getting some success in the post season for a change. Bismack Biyombo displayed the trademark Mutombo finger wag. I debate whether that is appropriate, but he did get the blessing of fellow African Mutombo first. Far less debatable is the punch and kick to the groin incidents by Jones and Green respectively. I wasn't too impressed with Lebron James flopping either. Nobody should resort to that kind of play. It takes away from accomplishment that might be achieved. There are always a few things that come up every year so I don't think the league is deteriorating but this does leave an unpleasant taste in my mouth. I love to hear what other myLotters think about all this.

At half time Raptors are leading. I won't be able to track the rest of the game though. I have an early start at work tomorrow morning and I need the hours. Love basketball but sometime other responsibilities come first.

@Lucky15 I'm smiling this morning. Yes they won. Now everyone thinks they belong in the final and the Cavs and their fans have reason to doubt.

I like a good clean game. My husband is convinced that all sports are rigged.

There are times when things happen that makes one wonder. If the Raptors can tie up the series this evening and Jonas Valancunias can come back from his ankle injury, on paper this series could go either way.
