I wouldn't go so far as to say that the NBA is out of control. There are a number of players that have to grow up. I won't condone some of their stupid and childish behaviour. Deliberate efforts to injure another player are just plain wrong. Both of them will likely be fined for their trouble. That is the way it should be. Punishments may not be severe enough though. Agreed. Intent to injure is bad for the game in every way. A serious eye injury could have put him on the sidelines for awhile possibly even end his career. I believe the Spurs demonstrated in game three that they could play worse than they did in game one. Errant pass off the coconut is humiliating at any level. The question is, how will they respond.
