Many a day while I am reading and responding a brilliant post from the PAST comes up on the featured right hand side of the site - "you might also like".
I first time I tapped into one of these posts, I didn't realize that it was dated 2009 - which is a long time ago, however luckily the follower is still current on the site and because I had made a comment on the post, he was able to upgrade the writings to the required legality of the current rules.
Some of the writings are from before I started . . . and whats stopping us from enjoying some of the older, good reads?
Nothing!
So next time you are reading and responding, check to the right side of your screen and see if there is anything on the "you might also like" feature of MyLot!
happy reading everyone.

@Inlemay I have done it in reverse. When the site has seemed quiet I have chosen a member and scrolled back through their discussions to find those of interest to me. It sometimes confuses people to find comments appearing on discussions they posted many years ago.

I have tried some links to old posts to not find them there! I wish those would get deleted off the stuff that shows on the side bars

@Inlemay well, but do they really exist at all? Like were they deleted? or just inactivated?

What you discovered is interesting :) That could be a way for renewing ties with old connections who might have wandered off ")

Hi Inlemay!
That's an interesting and useful tip. I will do that from now on. I usually just check the discussions with no response so that the discussions that other Mylotters started will not go to waste but now, I will open another window for the suggestions. Thank you! :)

I don't ignore the side panel. What happens is I make a mental note to come back to a title that caught my eye. But I don't usually get back to it after I've visited other discussions. Still! I'm glad the suggestions are there. It's a neat feature.
