So my dad neglects his yard and garden pretty well. I offered to go over and weed and till his garden and in exchange he will bless me with some of the vegetables he will grow. Its not thathes unable to do this on his own, I think its laziness.
Anyways what an eye sore! As we speak I am about a quarter way through and ready for a nap. His yard is another thing entirely. Overgrown and still has leaves from last fall. Lol!
Is anyone you know like this? I live in an apartment now but when I do buy a home I feel Ill take a little better care of things...

My dad had some health issues last year and I spent as much time at my parents' house helping them as I did my own house. It's what us children are supposed to do.

mercy, sounds like the hubs. he doesn't tend nothin', but's most happy to show off "his" produce. i hope that'cha managed to get such a chore tackled. reckon he's akin to the fella 'round here? figures why should he bother when he knows that'cher gonna come'n tend to't? sigh..

I have a yard too and sometimes due to laziness, I failed to clean it too. Hahaha. Good luck in cleaning your dad's yard.
