Any ex-smoker here wants to share how did you stop smoking?

My husband was a chain smoker before and he did stop without eating candies, he just quit. He just disciplined himself not to smoke anymore and he did win that bad vice and he prayed a lot that he can quit smoking.

Quit quit quit smoking, very hard I think. I only know you quit smoking on the public place , in planes and in the air cond room.lo Many ways of stop smoking we can find online and medicine. May be smoke less day by day, buy some mint sweet to eat when you want to smoke. Very hard for great smokers. Many of my older clients just quit cold turkey. They tried patches, medications, hypnosis, and found that he only way to stop was just to stop. My husband has been a smoker for over 20 years. I doubt he will ever quit. Not only does he smoke, but he chews when he can't smoke. Makes it even harder for him to even think about quitting.

I never smoked but my husband did for just a few years when he was young and simply quit "cold turkey" one day and that was it for him.
