How often you are checking - New User Discussion

June 3, 2016 2:22pm CST
Hi, I joined mylot recently and found something strange. Something weird. As you all know, I already had couple of accounts with Mylot. So I know few members of Mylot. Mylot has a tab named - New User Discussion under Explore which shows discussion which were started by new user. I was shocked to see I got 17 responses on my discussion out of which 16 were my old followers. So is that only my followers are seeing the New User Discussion section ? What is your favourite section? How often you visit your favourite section ? Do we still earn more if we interact with new user? Song I am playing currently -
The official video for 'Let Her Go', as featured in the Budweiser Superbowl 2014 commercial. Directed and Produced by Dave Jansen. Amazing work Dave - www.fu...

I don't think I've gone to that section. I know it's sad, but it usually takes me most of the day to get rid of my notifications.

One of the honest reply .... That is what happen when you are famous and you get friends like @vandana7 , purplealabaster daddyevil thesids DJ and me You know they know how to keep you busy, Purple is so into it that she don't want to give you time to respond on other discussions. She says you are mine.... And stay with me When she show her petals .... you need to be quick to catch up with newly blossomed flower.... Don't you agree ? In few seconds after her arrival you will see notification turning to be Purple commented ... Purple responded .... Purple liked .... in whole bunch @purplealabaster ( It's not good to talk about her at her back )

If you are a new user how can you have "old" followers ? I explore most of the time the "Most Recent Discussions", rarely "New User Discussions", but I often respond to new members when they need help. I do not know if we continue to earn more for interacting with a new member. How do you heard about this ?

Friendship doesn't see age my dear friend I read about it way back... It was admin's post if I am not wrong. I am not sure if we still earn more for interacting with new member.

I never check the New User section of myLot. I never use Explore, either! I may not have been so very worried about you had I checked those sections, but I have so many notifications related to the discussions I visit that I don't need to check those sections to find people I want to interact with. I normally check people's profiles to see if they have written anything new for me to read/interact on. When you changed profiles, that left me with no way to see/talk to you besides email. So you received an email from me. (Please, if you change profiles again, let me know instead of seeing if I can find you again. Thank you!) Uhm... You might like listening to a new song put out by Walker Hayes. I downloaded it a few minutes ago from SoundCloud. It is called You Broke Up With Me. (You know I don't normally pay attention to songs, but this one is decent. I don't really like the rap style it starts in, but the song is good.)
Inspired by music from all genres, Walker Hayes seamlessly blends elements of pop, rock, rap and country together, creating a fresh sound firmly rooted in his southern perspective.   Born in Mobile, A

Yes I can understand that -- since you got good number of followers Your case is similar to that of val Surely I will tell you about it. Mostly I do it once I reach my payout. But I will share my username if I change it completely I am searching for the lyrics... It usually helps me to understand meaning of song. Though I like the tune

Occasionally I will go to the New user section, also sometimes to the Discussion w/no response. My most common Explore choice is Most Recent Discussions.

Nice... You also were there in my old account follower list I have a question - How can you be so number specific ? I am wondering what you actually do when you cross 20 discussions and no one is responding and you want to stay on mylot Your system needs an upgrade.... Go get your Trivia++

I check new user and discussion with no response every two-three days. Sometimes daily. Mostly I go to Follows and Most recent discussion/activity.

I don't have two active accounts. I have only one active account at the moment. I always ask for the lock/deletion of old account before I create one.

Not all people check new members discussions about getting your responses from your followers, im not sure because if you re-joined with a new user name, your old followers will not automatically know your new user name, I answered to your discussion nt because im your old follower but because l liked what i read.

Yes that is the most interesting part, since they didn't knew it was me at that time. But still I got only those people who actually used to respond on my old account Isn't it that amazing. Wow that was a great way to complement my writing ...

Most Recent Discussions is my favorite and I visit it to often. Once in a while I explore Interesting Discussions and New User Discussions. Do we earn more interacting with new members, that doesn't make sense. All I know is we earn every single time we get responses on our discussions and for replying on other people's topics.

Just for your reference -
Hey myLotters! As a lot of you know, I'm the bug guy. I'm definitely an introvert and don't post much. I like reading what others post and chime in when...

I visit recent discussion and new user discussions. Rarely i respond to no responses discussions also. I did not understand the point you made about responses you got only from followers!

It depends upon how many notifications I have and how much time I have as well not to mention who is on when I am here. If I have time, then I do check out the New Users tab and also the No Response tab, but sometimes those "discussions" do not have a response for a reason. Then again, other times I have found a few gems hidden there.

My turn to section is the misnamed 'All Activity of Follows' which is all the activity of the people I follow. This is a good place to be as you can see the popular items from those I follow and part of the comment they have made, which helps you decide if the discussion is worth getting involved in.
