well, i can control my temper when in public. but when i am in the house i am out of control. getting out my temper sometimes can make you feel better when you are angry with someone.

They say that we tend to hurt those closest to us, like we can easily lose our tempers even though it's not meant for them. I think it's because we are so used to them being there for us that we tend to show whatever were feeling at the moment without filter or restraint. I have to say that my temper is something that I cannot also show in public. But in private, it's easy come, easy go. Once I have vented out, I'm already cool.

@transcendent don't you think so? How would you react if your boss shouts and embarrasses you in front of your co-workers?

I'm generally an even-tempered person unless provoked to my breaking point. I tend to let a lot go, which may or may not be all that healthy. However, I wasn't always that way. When I was younger, if something set off a particular emotion, then I released said emotion. Reguardless of the situation I was in.

Getting angry or losing your temper simply means that your mind is controlling you, while it should be other way round.

I can conceal my anger for a long period of time. If it is out-of-hand situation, I am going to release my anger.

I try to control it by just walking out from the place or by staying quiet.

Well, it depends on the cases, but usually I would try my best to control my temper. Some of my friends said that I have a good temper.

I keep my temper only to myself. No one really knows what kind of temper I have and its better that way.
