I am not happy with the weather today

After a very long period of either bad or changeable weather, it is finally starting to settle into summer here. Today we have beautiful clear skies, glorious sunshine and around 75 Fahrenheit.
Ordinarily I would be delighted that the weather has improved so much, but tomorrow I fly to Turkey.
It is always more enjoyable to fly away from the poor weather to such a hot climate. I would have preferred that it was overcast and raining this week and brighten up next week when I return.

Sure there is. This is why the ancestors of those of us who live along the SoCal coast left the UK all those years ago.

The old adage is right, timing is everything. Maybe this is a taste of the weather you can expect while on your trip, and the weather will stink in the UK while you are gone?

@ElizabethWallace That rather depends were the island is. Predicting the weather on a Mediterranean Island would be more reliable than in England.
