Wanted: Superhero

Today I needed The Hulk. Desperately. I had a bag of Mint Patty Chocolates that just didn't want to open. I could have used The Hulk's great strength to manhandle the bag and give me access to the sweet goodness inside. Instead, I had to rely on a pair of scissors, which isn't nearly as fun.

Wouldn't the Hulk have smushed the candy inside? I would think Captain America's strength would have been more useful, as the Captain would have understood your need for the candy, and would have wanted you to have it. The Hulk wouldn't have cared.

As entertaining as that display might have been, I have a feeling the finale would have involved the chocolates wildly scattering all over the room. If they were individually wrapped though, I guess that wouldn't be a problem. They sound delicious, by the way.

They were yummy. Though the kids kept grabbing them by the handful and I didn't get as many as I wanted. What a mom will do for her children! I think Hulk would be great for smashing spiders, too. Though we might not have much of a house left when he was done!

I think even the Hulk might have a problem with some of those plastic bags. If they are marshmallows then the Human Torch could open the bag and toast the marshmallows at the same time.

I cannot believe how hard to open are some little bags of chips or chocolates. I always use the scissors.

@Genipher LOL Yes, this would be funny, much more than asking a fireman to rescue your cat from a tree, because we pay for the service here.

But you gotta admit, asking a superhero for help would be a ton of fun. Sort of like asking a fireman to rescue your cat from a tree. "A bag that won't open? Avengers, assemble!!"

Yet another reason why I should ring up Captain America, instead. He would be a gentleman and let me eat the whole bag of candy without making stealing a single one or making a snide comment.

the older and weaker i get it amazes me what i can't open. worst of all is the medications and such for people disabled.

The Hulk would be helpful in many jar/pill-opening scenarios. Or, as Pamela said, Captain America. The latter would be muuuuch safer to be around!

And you could yell, "You won't like me when I'm angry!" at whatever you're trying to open. And turn green. That could be fun...although you'd run out of clothes pretty fast...
