Yesterday my sister told me that they keep the mothers and babies for 48 hours after delivery. When I had my children at that hospital years ago it was only 24 hours. I begged to go home with my son so they let me go early even though I was so sick and running a 103 fever. I just can't sleep away from home. Since my sister wasn't coming home like I expected I went up to see her. My man went with me but he doesn't like hospitals so he dropped me off and went to get some things at walmart while I visited. The baby is 9 pounds 5 oz and boy was that am armful. She has very chubby cheeks and looks just like her father. I wish I had gotten to stay longer but my man and I were really hungry so we went and found a restaurant to eat at. There was a new restaurant in that area that I drove past a lot over the past few months and have wanted to check out. It is called Primanti Bros. The waitress was nice and the place had a nice atmosphere and cool decorations but the wait for our food was so long. I ordered a water, Cheese Fries, and Double Egg and Cheese classic sandwich. My man got a soda, Colossal Onion Rings, Roast Beef Classic sandwich. The total was $28.89 which wasn't bad. I will never dine there again. The food was so bland and just yuck. It is pretty hard to make cheese fries that taste terrible but these were awful. The idea behind the sandwich is cool there's a layer of egg and cheese, fries, coleslaw and a tomato between two slices of thick bread. Everything was just bland...the coleslaw... the fries.. the bread. My man said the same thing about the food he had. I would say the only thing I actually liked was the sauce the gave with the onion rings.

I had checked in on facebook that were were eating there. Today I got asked by a facebook friend how it was. I told him what I said on here basically and he said that is exactly what he has heard about the restaurant from others. Doesn't look like they are developing a very good reputation.

@shaggin Doesn't sound like they'll be in business long. Sounds like they need Chef Ramsay to get them in line!

I'm not a fan of fast food. Aside from being unhealthy they tend to be bland or tasteless especially after a long wait when the food has cooled off and no longer hot.

This was more a casual restaurant rather then fast food. I would prefer yucky mcdonalds fast food to this bland Primanti Bros.

I understand that. It is hard to know ahead of time the prices. I usually order the most lowest priced thing on the menu haha. Being a vegetarian it can be hard to find food to eat that is more then just french fries etc.

Well, despite the bland food, you got to see the newest member of the family and that had to be exciting!

Sounds like you had fun seeing your sister and niece but didn't enjoy the meal afterwards. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
