Buy a laptop online

Do you like to shop online? I just helped my alumni association to buy a laptop for our executive. The executive just received the laptop and sent a message to complain that the color is not correct. I asked her to confirm the everything first. After she checked everything, she text me that only the color is not correct. I am going to check the order list. If there is no mistake, it should be blue. I think I will email to complain the seller. Will you make a complaint if it is just color mistake?

If it is only the color, I wont mind. But if I was a boy and I receive pink color, I will complain.

We ordered blue color and they sent us black one. I think it is OK to me.

I enjoy online shopping and I have bought different kinds of products now and then. If the seller sent me a wrong color, if it does a matter for me, then I will complain about it. If it is not so important and I can accept it. I remember long time ago I bought an USB fan online for my son. But it was pink when I received it and the seller sent me the wrong color. Since pink is not a right color for boys, so I told the seller. Then the seller sent me the right color fan and he asked me not to send him the wrong color one as he said the shipping would be expensive. Oh! I didn't expect to it at all. That seller was quite reponsible and nice

@hoong143 Most of the time I am very lucky I will not buy products in a cheap and unreasonable price. And I also will read the buyers comments and therefore I can judge which sellers I shall choose.

I will complain. It's the seller's responsibility to inform me regarding color changes if the color I chose was not available. He should ask if he could send another color instead. He shouldn't just send me any color hoping I would be fine with it. There are some sellers though that indicate in their product descriptions that they'll just send whichever color/variant is available, then I don't have a right to complain. I've also sold products online - fashion and beauty products mostly, so it's a big deal if you send like the wrong lipstick color!

Yes. I think the seller should inform us first. Maybe this seller is really not good in service. Or he think we just have one deal and no deal in future.

That executive is a very fussy person. I think she can just ignore it. Since she is working on the laptop, she does not have to see the color. I think if she has someone working for her, that person will suffer.

I think it's because bosses understand that when you agreed on something, it should be followed. The person he had made a deal with shouldn't just change what was agreed upon without letting the other person know, then assume that it wouldn't bother him.

It depends. If i'm in for the limited color edition and what came in was not the specified color that i wanted then i would complain. But if it's just an ordinary color, then I wouldn't mind at all even though ti's not the same color that i ordered.

I always shop on line,but after I experienced many problems of the items, I stopped.It is necessary to complain for the item sent is wrong. A customer is always right.
