Internet problems: scam or snail?

I have had problems for several days with the web. It is very slow and sometimes the sites will not open. At first I thought it was my computer and was very worried as I just have paid to have it repaired. But now, and after talking to other people, I think that the company has sold web to more people and they cannot give service to all of them. So, at peak time, the web just does not work. This is yet another kind of scam for which there are no laws. Noone will make anyone pay for damages. Technology seems wonderful until you realise that there are all sorts of ways to scam people. There are sites where a person works and is supposed to be paid until the site simply disappears (as Bubblews did). Or, as it happens with me today, there is a company that has sold me an internet plan which I pay every month. I am supposed to have a certain number of gigas. Only it is not true. The old letter in an envelope was slow. But at least it reached its destiny.

This was commonplace in Britain a long while ago, but sadly all that is in the past here. They would allocate about 50 people to one line, which they referred to as the "contention rate". If few people were online the speed would be good, but as soon as everyone began using it the system would slow right down.

The thing is that they sell it in a different way and we pay for it

there are times when the internet is so slow and what i usually do is to make a registry scan and check if my antispyware, antimalware is active. There are times that it goes off and my laptop got infected with a virus that slows it down. Most of the time when those two is active, it blocks the site that has malicious content in it and prevent me from viewing the sites. One time when I open twitter the page does not load and a warning is displayed some malicious software is recording my actions

I think that in this case it has to do with the company that gives the service.

Even the old letter did not get there once in a while.

True! I remember that the worst was when we sent parcels elsewhere.

How annoying that must be. You have no redress?
