Interaction

This discussion was inspired after reading a worried statement from one of the writers where her concern was expressed on those who just 'like' and not participate in the comment section of the discussion. In as much as I'd like to comment on most of the writings, time is really the culprit. I believe that earning from writing and interacting is dependent on how interesting the topic is, how engaged the reader is or if there's a relationship (friendly or otherwise) between the reader and the writer. The thing is, we have to take care of those who comment on our discussions, pay them a visit, read their interaction, in short, establish a relationship with your followers by writing an interesting and engaging piece and be interested in their discussions too. It's a give and take, a basic rule in life and writing.

I like to leave a comment too. I usually do that but sometimes when I have nothing to say and still like the discussion , I press 'like'

Ditto. There are times I genuinely like the discussion but I have no clue what to say. I hate leaving generic comments. If I can't ask a question or be "silly" enough to keep the discussion going, then I tend to not "say" anything.

What you say is very true. It is the interaction that is important on a site like this.

yes and I am no longer concerned about comments. likes are good for me I have been told and comments make them money. so it is in others hands when I make a post I guess.

I totally agree with you. Sometimes I just tell them I have nothing to sat in my comments. I find that some topics are just too philosophical or are too whacked out for myLot.

I'm happy with the people who just like. They aren't doing any harm and at least they took the time to read what I wrote.

yes. you are right. That we have to develop among the coming generations. I like your idea very much. Love, sympathy, affection, friendlyness, respect, kidding, some sharing of joy and sorrow should all go side by side. There is no place for race, religion, caste, community and status etc., One more thing is be frank in your opinion. Do not conceal your feelings for yourself and make a big issue of nothing. Do you agree.
