I Was Mortified by Siri

Last night I had theatre tickets. I went with my best friend and my daughter to see Bye Bye Birdie at Goodspeed Opera House. As usual they told us to turn off our phones.
I put my phone on vibrate and proceeded to watch the show. In the middle of the second half this load voice started talking. It was coming from my purse. It was Siri? (the intelligent personal assistant on my iPhone) Was she on drugs?? Crazy?? I have no idea but I was so embarrassed. Have you ever had to sit on your iPhone to quiet her down?
I was hoping no one knew it was me, but I am afraid it was all to obvious. I need to do something about Siri but I haven't decided how to punish her yet!!

@Asylum lol now that would have gotten me thrown out , she was just shouting about not being able to help me now!! Like I was asking for help , NOT!!

Siri is the intelligent personal assistant on an iPhone. Most people with a smart phone know who Siri is. But for those who don't I will add that information.

Oh goodness that is embarrassing! For the life of me I cannot think of a good punishment for her. Lol. Glad I have an Android phone!

perhaps a time-out's 'n order? mercy, bet that 'twas most embarrassin'. thankfully i've a dumb phone. only speaks if'n i answer't, lol.

Lol! Just awful. Mine rang in the middle of a back to school superintendent's address in front of 500 teachers and staff. It was brand new, lost somewhere in my purse, and I didn't know how to shut it off. The person next to me had to do it.

Since I don't have an iPhone I'm not sure what happened there but can only relate it to the time I forgot to turn my cell off in Church and yes- not only did it ring loudly- it took me ages to find it in my cluttered purse and shut it off- help!

It was okay. The women who played KIm and Rose were good, and Mrs Peterson was a hoot but Albert was not great and he and Rose had no chemistry at all. It was worth seeing but not worth seeing again. If that makes sense.

ha ha. i think nowadays we have all been there.... i'm usually very good at having my phone off & or have volume turned all the way day, but.... it has still embarrassed me a time or two. once during Mass, a song started playing! (a rock song, not a hymn!) ha ha.

She can be very handy, I ask her to make calls for me and things like that.
