I Comment On Others Who Comment On Mine / myLot

This is what I read a lot on here and that's when they say they always visit the posts of those who have commented on theirs. Not all the posts but most of them and that's whether or not the conversation topic is of "interest" to them. Mind you, I'm not annoyed at that as I see it as a cute bit of satire or perhaps they want to sound like they're trying or have too many notifications. One of the members admitted he mostly goes to like-minded people and I found that refreshing.

When you receive something from a person, you must also give something to them. Of course it is not really required. It still depends on you. But that's the way it is here. We need to interact.

there will be people you visit that don't visit you. there will be people who visit you that you don't feel like visiting. but as much as possible, just be sincere in your interactions, whether it's reading, liking, or commenting.

To me, it's all about interaction. I always respond to those who leave a comment on my posts, then move on to interesting to me discussions.

I'm sure some of those who comment on your posts have "interesting" topics like you say.. It's easier when people are willing or actually can (for whatever reason they can't) share more photographs and write about where they are and what they do.

When I come here, I always begin with my notifications and try to go through all of them before moving on. Sometimes, as I'm going down the list, I will find comments from other people I haven't yet met, and I will go and read their posts and do some comments there, just to find new and interesting people. Once I'm done with my notifications, I will go in search of posts to read and people to comment and see what else is going on around here. It can keep me busy for hours! And it's great when I have the time!

Personally I don't do the comment for a comment thing and would never expect it from anyone else. I just respond/comment when I find something of interest and if I respond/comment I don't expect one in return.

@Vjvals I think many do the comment for a comment thing...nothing wrong with it just not how I choose to do things.
