Happy National Ice Cream Month! Favorite flavor?

Since 1984, July has been National Ice Cream Month in the United States, proclaimed by then President Ronald Reagan. He's the one who kept a jar of Jelly Bellys on the desk in the Oval office. I guess he had a real sweet tooth. If you want to really celebrate, the actual Ice Cream Day is Sunday, July 17th this year.
My wife loves a certain local ice cream flavor called Java Thunder (vanilla ice cream, coffee flavored with ribbons of chocolate fudge). You even get 8% of your calcium and some Vitamin A in it.
So what is your favorite ice cream flavor? Or maybe you prefer frozen yogurt as I do?
I really prefer frozen vanilla yogurt with hot fudge drizzled over it (less fat I think).

My favorite is Rocky Road, but I haven't had any since I became lactose intolerant years ago. I eat frozen yogurt, but they don't make it in my fav. Bummer.

@ElizabethWallace - You will have to go to the frozen yogurt shop in the Arbors shopping center on El Toro east of I-5. You choose your own flavor combinations and you can add marshmallows and whatever you one. Create your own Rocky Road!

@JamesHxstatic Like with everything else, they only make what sells a ton. In stores there are usually only two or three flavors of frozen yogurt sold.

I'm not an ice cream fan actually, but my favourite is coffee flavour. That's the only ice cream i could consume a pint in one seating.

I like vanilla and chocolate. Strawberry is good, too. On Dr. Oz they investigated and discovered frozen yogurt was no better than ice cream. Matter of fact it may be worse because they put more sugar in frozen yogurt in order to make it taste better. You can get frozen yogurt with less sugar but the less the sugar the more sour it is. I guess it boils down to do you want less fat and more sugar or less sugar and more fat? Yes, catch 22.

It's hard to find a special flavor that I could label my favorite, but I generally request Vanilla Bean, or Espresso. However, I mustn't ignore the Cherry Garcia, or the pistachio flavors. Then again, there's the Banana Split flavor, once again a Ben&Jerry's choice. Years ago, I loved Banana Rocky Road, sold by Baskin Robbins, but they discontinued it and I haven't been able to find it again.
It's easier to say what flavor(s) I don't like! Chocolate, strawberry, pineapple. To be clear, I am crazy about chocolate, just not as an ice cream flavor.

I haven't tried caramel ripple, but I agree that the other combinations with vanilla are delicious!

Always been chocolate. I usually peer into the big box at the counter ,look at all the exotic choices...and then come up with chocolate...the darker the better.

variations of coffee ice cream are my favorite... when i lived in chicago, there was a local dairy farm called Oberweiss that made WONDERFUL coffee ice cream. starbucks actually used to have a delicious ice cream, but i no longer see it in the stores.

I like frozen yogurt and there is a place in our area where you fill your own cup with whatever varieties you like. My new favorite is "birthday cake." Then, you add your own toppings ... fresh strawberries and a little chocolate. Yummy!
