How is everyone at myLot today?

I have spent much less time here than I did months ago. I said that would happen. I enjoy my pool too much to sit inside on the computer. I do take some time here but what I'm seeing is a much quieter myLot than I expected.
It seems its the same people posting and commenting - but only a handful or two compared to many many handfulls who had been part of the site.
Is everyone off enjoying summer (or winter depending on where you live)? Vacations? Have people moved on to other sites? No sites?
Just curious how you all are and wondering how long the quietness will last.

I am one of those daily regulars and have noticed participation dipping or at least fewer regular posters. That seems to happen on every site I have been on in the past. They start out like a house of fire then shrink to a hardy handful. This site benefited from a rush of people like myself coming from other sites going out of business and then comes the drop out rate to other sites that pay better or more appealing. If a person doesn't like what regulars post here....well...Very noticeable on this site is a pretty strong divide between the US (plus other countries) and India/Philippines with a minimum amount of crossover.

I don't know what this site was like 10 year ago - I can only go by my almost a year here. I was more active and it took it's toll on me an my internet bill LOL! Now that I pay a much lower bill I'm on here less to have fun in the 'real world'.

@AbbyGreenhill I know exactly what you mean. There are also subjects that simply do not appeal to us.
For example, I could not respond to a post about knitting patterns or punk music. My only possible input would be some puerile basic comment that would add nothing to the discussion.

Sometimes I run out of things to read, only because I'm picky. I don't want to read posts that are all stats copied from some source pretending to be a post.

@AbbyGreenhill Here is very hot today, it's also humid, we have been inside all the day. May be when the sun goes down it would be more bearable.

Lucky you by the pool ......its we students travelling from home to our training centres in this annoyingly summer heat and getting tanned .....that's pretty much kind of not cool enough!!
