Sometimes People are Only Concerned With Benefits

Some people will stay in our lives just to see what's in it for them. Yes, there will be people who aren't too concerned with our well being, but concerned with receiving. There's nothing wrong with giving to others but sometimes people take advantage. There's some that wouldn't bother with certain people if they wasn't able to benefit in some way. Giving is a blessing but it can seem like a headache when people are unaware of their limits. Sometimes the self absorbed will come rolling in and won't understand that being a receiver can't occur all of the time.

My husband has married cousins that are like that. They even said if friends will not give them something they are not friends anymore. A really sad way to be in your life.

Sadly I have to say I know a quite a few people like that. They are takers and hardly give enough of themselves. I was one of those who gave too much at times until I finally had to put my foot down. Yes, people will take advantage and think nothing of it.

That's how it is sometimes. One putting their foot down can be a remedy.

If people are in positions to give then they should give. Only receiving isn't the ay to go.

I know this woman that will ask" why should I do that? I dont benefit." I was standing there with my mouth open, staring. I am a giving person that often gets taken advantage of, once and then I walk away.

Sometimes giving persons will be taken advantage of. People shouldn't stop giving. We'll learn more.

I know exactly how that feels. I am now pretty much a loner because I finally refused to be taken advantage of anymore. Now there are only a couple of people who even bother to talk to be. It gets lonely sometimes but on the other hand, I'd rather be alone than continue being taken advantage of and walked all over.

Sometimes it's best to be alone. Some people prefer to be alone due to the cruel negative people and it's quite understandable.

We can be generous to others. But there are some people who took advantage of kindness to them. That's the saddest part of dealing with these inconsiderate people. They are like cookie monster eating us alive.

Some will take advantage but that doesn't mean that people stop giving. It's unfortunate that some will go the extreme and can make it bad for others. Kindness is what's needed but there will be some that will take advantage of kindness.
