We sold a backpack

Following our success selling the printers' drawers and some wine-glasses, we advertised Vin's backpack on a local buy and sell site. He bought the backpack several years ago when he went to Nepal on his own. As we are not likely to need the backpack again we thought someone else might like the use of it. It sold this morning to a nice lady who wants to get back into doing some hiking.
I was going to put up a photo of Vin with his backpack but this one of a lake is much more attractive. I think it is my favourite of all the photos he took while he was away and it will definitely be going in one of our new frames to be displayed on our newly painted walls. Do you like it? I might have put it up before but I think it will stand a second viewing.

@much2say No it didn't but what a shame I didn't think to put a My Little Pony sticker on it. it would have made it easier for him to find on the airport carousel - but he would have had to wait till everyone got their baggage and left before he could pick it up without being laughed at.

I've used the same backpack for nearly 25 years. It's not the same as a backpack from Nepal, though.

that's wonderful that'cha found a new home fer that backpack :) i think this photo 'tis most stunnin', those shots'f red leaves jest set the whole thing off with quiet power'n front'f the mistiness'f the scene 'hind.

The painting is one that sold so now we want to get a bigger one printed so we can put it on the wall. Yes, we're pleased to have sold the backpack. :)

It's always nice to see a personal item go to one who would have the most use or need for it, oh yes that's a beautiful picture kinda lonely but it emotes a lot of feelings.
