I actually found this one and another one just like it. And, it looks like I have about three or four more that will be ready to be picked within the next couple days. I think BLTs are going to be on the menu one of these evenings.

I'm always paranoid about letting them ripen all the way while still on the vine. I've had a huge issue, in the past, with tomatoes either getting dry rot or getting stolen by some critter (or potentially a neighbor) so I'll let them start to ripen then will ripen them the rest of the way from the safety of the window sill.

@srhelmer That's a shame about your tomatoes getting stolen. They'll taste better if they ripen on the vine.

What are the other veggies/fruits in your garden?

I didn't plant that much this year. In addition to tomatoes, I have zucchini and yellow squash, some onions potatoes and pumpkins. I also have a cherry tomato hanging in front of the house but that started producing early and is almost done.

Oh, and cucumbers too. But, I'm not sure if I'll get anything out of those because they aren't growing that fast.

Good, you no need to buy them from the market.

I"m just hoping I get enough of them to do some canning again this year. The plants don't look like they have a lot but it's still early.

What a nice big tomato and it will go good on a BLT, enjoy these and the others you will be picking.

That is a perfectly formed fruit that will end up on toast!
