It is so true that people love lists. Why not? Cuts down on your search time. For those of you looking for Korean historical period dramas, here is a list of 25 recommendations. Sharing the list because “The Moon Embracing the Sun” was listed as Number 5. I've already seen this series and really liked it. Since the person who created this list placed this series among the Top 5, my logic tells me it must be a pretty good list. It's going to be my cheat sheet. My husband suggested "Tamra the Island" and after watching it, it dawned on me that I never had much exposure to Korean history. In America, we have films about Chinese and Japanese, but I don't remember watching or learning much about the history of Korea. I got more interested. Fortunately, thanks to the Internet, I can get my fill of all sorts of Asian films - Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, etc. - at various sites. Plus since my sons subscribe to Netflix and I can find some there too. There may be some on Amazon Instant Video, but my daughter won't allow me on her account. No biggie. I got more than enough sites to satisfy my binge watching quests.

@cmoneyspinner I have watched some Chinese movies and I liked them, while I cannot say that I like Japanese and Indian movies. I will try Korean.

I am more into Japanese tv shows but I know one Korean Drama about interracial romance between a British man and a Korean girl. It is a perioid drama set in a time Koreans didnt know White people exists. The title of the drama is Tamra the Island. it is about an English man with no British accent because a french actor played him who got stranded on an island where all people thinks he is a demon because his hair is blonde and his eyes are blue.

Yes. Watched it several times and wrote a discussion here about Tamra the Island. My husband liked the girl Virjeen. I rather fancied Park Gyu. I liked the way his personality evolved. I'm watching a Japanese TV series. It's a Netflix original called "Atelier:. It's not historical though. It's modern. I'm enjoying it though!
Video streaming is the best invention since the television was invented. Remember back when if you were hooked on a TV show, you watched that season, then you...

@cmoneyspinner Japan and Korea loves tragic endings for their interracial romance serials. I remember the girls name in Tamra the Island is pronounced as Virgin.

@CaptAlbertWhisker - There were obvious subtleties in the character names, if subtlety can be obvious, that is.
