And Then Things Happen

I don't know what to tell you. I thought I'd be on myLot a lot more over the summer but as things turned out I've hardly been on at all. It just goes to show you.
What have I been up to? The missus and I took the RV up to the mountains for a nine days and had a great time. We had about a week at home, she had to work, I worked around the house, and then we were off to see our oldest graduate from training in Florida. While there I passed a kidney stone. Kind of took the fun out of the trip. I was still able to pin his wings on at the ceremony.
Since then I've been concentrating on my blog and my next book. I took part in the Camp NaNoWriMo for July and passed 50,000 words for the month yesterday. The book isn't nearly finished, though, so I'm still working on it every day.
I hope everyone's been doing okay and enjoying their summer, or winter for those of you down under.

So many times we have plans and thing turn out in another way. But as I read, you are doing something you like. So that´s more than enough

Glad you had some fun but sorry about that stone, OUCH.
It must take a lot of patience to write a book, hope it turns out as you hoped.

You are a busy camper. I hope that kidney stone was just a fleeting nightmare.

I can understand why you did not spend as much time in mylot as you thought, you have been doing a lot! I am sure you are very happy to see your oldest graduated.
As for me, I am busy taking care of my third baby who is just two months old. Though there are many sleepless nights, I am very happy to see the children growing up healthily and happily too.
Good luck with your new book.

Passing a kidney stone could take the shine off of just about any activity. Glad to hear your making the most of your summer. Several myLot friends have suddenly been scarce.

There are so many things that just keep us busy. Real life is the first thing that comes to mind here!

You've had an eventful few weeks. Good news about the book coming along so well. We are off in our bus/motor-home soon to chase the wildflowers for a few weeks. We expect to have fun - not kidney stones I hope!

No what they say about idle hands and sounds like your hands have been far from that. Glad you are enjoying your summer.

Been enjoying the rainy months. Thanks to my big, blue umbrella. The cooler weather helps me sleep early in the evening.
