My Coma

I’m tired right now
I want to go to sleep
I can’t stay awake
But I’m falling too deep
Tomorrow will come
But I might not see it
What have I done
I have been depleted
I drop to the floor
Clutching my chest
I’m falling asleep
I really need some rest
My body is weak
I have no control
I’m deeply asleep
I’m losing my soul
The pain and the fear
Are going away now
But I still see and hear
Too tired to take a bow
I babble and blink
While my cigarette burns
I hear dripping in the sink
But I’m unable to turn
I see on the counter
The scissors and knife
Don’t anything matter
This is now my life
I see colors that change
I hear mumbling outside
I am now ready to purge
And take that descending ride

@inertia4 I am in a silly mood but the poem was good...sorry if I've sort of made fun of you as that wasn't my intention

this had an amazing cadence to it, and a great flow. It was bittersweet and I quite enjoyed it
