Happy Birthday To Me

Yes, another year has passed. I am getting older but wiser I should say. I have changed a lot but all to my goodness and positivity in life. Life is so short to not enjoy it. Today, we went to the beach and celebrated my birthday with the family. It was the first time my father went with us at the beach after his illness. God bless that he has recovered. It was our family bonding day with lots of laughter. After last month of worries, we were able to laugh again. It was high tide and the waves were not so high and the kids (my nieces and nephews) in our family were enjoying it guarded by their respective fathers. It was only me, my father and my aunt who didn't swim. I was not allowed to wash my hair for 3 days because I let my hair straightened in the hairdresser. The beach party today was not planned. It was a spontaneous idea of mine thinking how I could make my Filipino family happy. How do you celebrate your birthday? Is beach party one of your birthday celebrations?

Yes, I had @hereandthere. It is only 5 minutes from my house to the beach. No we did not have to rent a jeepney. We have motorcycle and my siblings, too.

I'm so sorry I missed your birthday! FB didn't notify me. Then again, I haven't been on much. Belated birthday greetings! I'm glad you had a fun day and spent it with your family. I either go out to a special dinner or travel.

happy birthday! i don't celebrate mine, aint'n years. there's no beaches 'round these parts :) but there's some sand dunes'n which one could play...'n bake from the sun, lol. so glad that'cher dad 'twas able to be there!
